Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahhahh. Hah. Ahaah.

Excuse me, that was the Laughter of Bitter Recognition.

Clearly it temporarily transformed into an evil monster while you were unaware. Be glad you have such vigilant protectors.

Prurient minds want to know -- was the jug empty or full before the tooth marks appeared?

Half full and it was knocked over tooth holes up.

Your cats are clearly falling down on the job, then!

(that, or somebody snuck into the house and mimic'd cat bites, just to get them in trouble... )

Clearly the lack of cat-tooth-sized holes was an oversight, which has now been corrected.

"Oh look, your watering can is defective."

The watering can incident is a different humorous cat story.

you missed the epic battle between them and the plastic borer wyrms

It's a special commemorative edition.
